NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has signed an agreement with United Kingdom’s PayXpert to make India’s domestic Payment Interface (UPI) available in the United Kingdom.

The partnership will first allow users to make UPI-based QR code payments and will expand to integrate the possibility of RuPay card payments in future.
