The Earthshot Prize, founded in 2020 by Prince William and the Royal Foundation was inspired by late president John F. Kennedy's 1962 moonshot speech that mobilized the nation. The prize aims to discover and help fund innovative solutions that would help towards a stable climate by 2030.
