Indian Shuttler Prannoy takes No.1 spot in BWF world tour rankings

The world for rankings are different from the world badminton rankings, Prannoy ranks 18th in the World’s men’s singles rankings.

Indian badminton player HS Prannoy overtook reigning world champion Viktor Axelsen of Denmark to claim the top spot of the latest men’s singles Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour 2022 Rankings.

The 30-year-old shuttler being in top form has competed in 13 tournaments on the BWF World Tour this season and is leading the charts with 58,090 points, while Axelsen is behind with 55,450 points, having been part of seven tournaments this year.
