Indian overseas tourism offices to be shut down by March

‌‌Even though there is no justification given in the memo for closing foreign offices, official sources claim the Prime Minister's Office made the decision.

The seven overseas Indian offices responsible for conducting promotional operations will close by March 31 of the next year, according to the Ministry of Tourism.

‌‌The ministry currently operates tourist offices in London, Tokyo, Beijing, Dubai, Singapore, New York and Frankfurt.
