In a shocking turn of events, just a day after Indian-origin British Home Secretary Suella Braverman resigned from her post, the Prime Minister Liz Truss announced her decision to step down from her post.

Announcing her resignation in 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister of 45 days said she “cannot deliver the mandate on which she was elected” and hence will be quitting as the leader of the Conservative Party.
