Indian-origin Leo Varadkar to serve a second term as prime minister of Ireland.

In accordance with a coalition agreement reached after the 2020 election, Leo Varadkar will assume office as Prime Minister of Ireland for a second time on December 17, 2022.

‌‌Since Varadkar quit his job in June of the year when the outbreak of Covid-19 was about to cause chaos, a lot has changed. Some of the challenges, including the effects of Brexit and the housing pressure are well-known.
