Indian-origin CEOs to address US Investment Summit 2023

The SelectUSA Investment Summit is the highest-profile event dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment (FDI) in the United States.

Prominent business executives, Anish Shah and Revathi Advaithi have been selected as speakers for the 2023 SelectUSA Investment Summit, scheduled to take place from May 1-4, 2023 in Washington, D.C. area.

The US Department of Commerce and SelectUSA announced the lineup of notable speakers that includes White House senior officials, cabinet members, US Governors, thought leaders and business executives from the US and global companies. The summit will be hosted by Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo.

Dr Shah who joined Mahindra Group in 2014 is presently the managing director and CEO of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. Earlier, he was president and CEO of GE Capital India from 2009-14. His career at GE spanned 14 years, during which he held several leadership positions. He worked with different global companies in different countries, his professional profile reads.

Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad alumnus and recipient of various scholarships, Shah holds a PhD from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and received a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon.

One of Fortune’s most powerful women in business lists for three consecutive years, Advaithi is presently CEO of Flex and a member of the company's Board of Directors since February 2019. Before Flex, she was president and chief operating officer at Eaton, consistently delivering high margins, while reducing earnings volatility. She also led several strategic initiatives including digital technology transformation and globally distributed innovation centers. She worked with various multinational companies in different countries in key positions, according to her professional profile.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science graduate, Advaithi is a co-chair of the World Economic Forum Advance Manufacturing CEO Community and joined the WEF Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders.  She currently serves on the boards of directors of Uber and and is also a member of the Business Roundtable and the Catalyst CEO Champions For Change initiative. She was named one of Business Today’s Most Powerful Women in India (2020).
