Ruchira Kamboj, India's Permanent Representative to the UN warned that if the international body does not bring about reforms in the UN Security Council, other organizations, such as the G-20, may step up efforts to take a more significant role in international affairs than the United Nations.
Speaking on the subjects of counterterrorism and reformed multilateralism during India's UNSC Presidency in December, Kamboj noted that the reformation of the UN is the "most complicated process" within the UN system.
