Indian Consulate in NY launches Chef Vikas Khanna’s NFT cookbook

The book is a compilation of prasad (holy offering) and food recipes served at various holy sites across India.

Michelin Star Chef Vikas Khanna launched his limited edition cookbook, ‘Sacred Foods of India’, at an event held at the Indian Consulate in New York on Tuesday. Consul general of India in New York, Randhir Jaiswal, community leaders, and members of the diaspora attended the event.

Sacred Foods of India is the first phygital book of India, where both the physical copy and digital copy is sold together. The non-fungible token (NFT) of the book created in collaboration with Akshaya.io, the world’s first ‘Phygital’ platform, was unveiled along with the physical copy during the ceremony.
