Indian-American woman hiker swept away in flash flood found dead

An Indian-American woman hiker, who had been washed away in a flash flood at the Zion National Park in Utah last week was reported dead on Aug. 23, 2022 by park authorities.

“On Monday, August 22, Jetal Agnihotri of Tucson, Ariz. Was found in the Virgin River near the Court of the Patriarchs in Zion National Park and was later pronounced deceased by a medical examiner,” the park said in an official statement.
