Over the weekend police arrested an armed man from in front of United States Representative Pramila Jayapal’s Seattle house after the neighbours complained that he was yelling obscenities directed to the residents of the house.
Later a statement from Jayapal’s office confirmed that she was present in the hose when the incident occurred. “Congresswoman Jayapal confirms that incidents occurred at her Seattle home on Saturday night when she was present. The Congresswoman and her family are safe and appreciate the many calls and good wishes she is receiving from constituents,” it read.
