Indian American Entrepreneur and University of Houston distinguished Alumnus, Brij Agarwal and his wife, Sunita, pledged U$1 Million towards manufacturing laboratory equipment at the University of Houston (UH’s) College of Technology building in Sugar Land.
A native of Lakhanpur, India, Agrawal moved to Houston at 17 and attended night school at UH while working full-time. He graduated from the university’s Cullen College of Engineering in 1988 with a degree in mechanical engineering and was named distinguished alumnus in 2007.
