Indian American businessman buys cricket franchise in American Premiere League

Established in 2009, the American Premiere League was started by the American Sports and Entertainment Group to grow Cricket culture in the States and bring to the same glory as it is worldwide.

Atlanta-based Indian American businessman, Rocky Walia purchased a franchise in the American Premiere League (APL), a T-20 cricket league based in the United States.

The franchise called “Premium Canadians” will compete in the second edition cricket tournament that is to be held from Dec.19 to 31, 2022, at the International Cricket Council (ICC) approved Broward County Cricket Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
