India warns Australia about rapidly growing Sikh separatists

The Indian government officials recently met with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong and Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil, and they raised concern over the movement's growing support, particularly in Melbourne's Indian population.

Indian  government representatives have taken up the issue of Sikh separatism in Australia with the highest level of the Australian government. This comes as a concern after an event for the Indian community in Melbourne witnessed an abundant presence of Khalistani flags.

‌‌The action is being taken ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Australia to attend the conference of the Quad country leaders.
