India and the US discussed avenues to deepen coordination between the armies of the two nations to address the Indo-Pacific region’s increasingly contested strategic environment.

The discussions were held during the US Deputy Secretary of Defense Dr Kathleen Hicks’ meeting with Indian National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval in Washington, DC.
