India to launch Digitalisation for Agriculture Transformation

The government aims to digitalise the agricultural sector and bring all data about farmers, their lands, and produce on one platform

After the huge success of its UPI payment system, the Indian Government is planning to bring revolution in agriculture sector by launching Digitalisation for Agricultural Transformation.

Under this plan, the Central government will create a database of Indian farmers with the help of state governments. The database will link the farmer's details and land through geolocation.
