India promotes millets at Gulfood 2023

As the UN celebrates the International Year of Millets in 2023, there will be special promotion and branding of millets superfoods at the ‘India Pavilion’ where the dishes are made with freshly cooked millet.

Pashupati Kumar Paras, the Minister of Food Processing Industry for the Government of India, officially inaugurated the "India Pavilion" at Gulfood in the presence of Sunjay Sudhir, the Indian Ambassador to the UAE on February 20, 2023.

Gulfood is the largest international sourcing event for food and beverages. Around 5000 firms from over 125 countries will participate in the 28th edition of Gulfood 2023, which takes place in Dubai from February 20–24.
