India preparing for a quantum jump in quantum technology: Minister

The Minister praised India's upcoming which saw about 120 Deep Tech space start-ups in the last two years.

India is preparing for a quantum jump in quantum technology, which will define the future of Science with practical solutions for the world ‘s pressing problems, Union Minister for Science & Technology,  Dr Jitendra Singh said at the India International Science Festival, IISF-2022 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Jitendra Singh jointly inaugurated the four-day IISF-2022 event in Bhopal under the theme, “Marching towards Amrit Kaal with Science Technology and Innovation”.

The Minister said that IISF Bhopal is timely as it is happening when India assumed the G20 Presidency, where it aims to showcase not only the multi-pronged developmental dimensions but also the country's universally recognized soft power.
