The spirit of trust, goodwill and camaraderie will be on full display when expat teams from India and Australia clash in a special T20 cricket match for the inaugural 'International Liberty Cup' in New York later this month.

The match is being held to commemorate 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' -- the 75th Anniversary of India's Independence.

India is celebrating its 75 years of Independence this year. While the nation has taken giant strides over the last seven decades, the Indian diaspora's role as a catalyst for economic and social development is momentous, and acts as a force-multiplier for securing New Delhi's interests globally.
