The India Association of North Texas (IANT) will host the 45th edition of its annual signature event 'Anand Bazaar’ to celebrate 60 years of service to the community and 75 years of India's Independence on Aug.20,2022 at the Rough Riders Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
The event will start with a parade representing various Indian states, cultural song and dance performances, food and traditional fashion booths and a kids play area. A special booth called the Brahmastra: part one - Shiva Booth will provide mini posters of the upcoming film that has Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles.
The highlight of the event will be a live performance by renowned Bollywood singer, Kanika Kapoor, known famously for her songs, ‘Baby Doll' and ‘Desi look'. A grand display of fireworks will conclude the festivities at Anand Bazaar.
“Our annual 45th Anand Bazaar is for every Indian and others, to join and create history rejoicing this landmark day as a community,” IANT’s website reads. The past edition of the event had attracted over 15,000 people.
