India and Asian Development Bank sign agreements to develop infrastructure projects

These projects collectively aim to promote a better standard of living in the various Indian cities while also providing a boost to economic activities.

The government of India, recently signed multiple loan agreements with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, Tripura, Chennai and Assam.

‌‌The signatories were Rajat Kumar Mishra, additional secretary, Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance and Hoe Yun Jeong and Nilaya Mitash, officer-in-charge of ADB's India Resident Mission, who signed on behalf of the lender.
