In a first, University of Loughborough appoints envoys to India to boost relations

The ambassadors will be instrumental in furthering the university's India strategy.

The University of Loughborough has announced that it has appointed two special envoys for India for the first time ever to enhance collaboration with major stakeholders and partners in the country.

As envoys, Professor Bala Vaidhyanathan and senior lecturer Dr. Kirti Ruikar will be responsible for leading the University’s Regional Strategy for India and play a key role in delivering the International Engagement and Impact Core Plan, which forms a part of the University’s strategy “Creating Better Futures”.
