IIT Madras professor elected to US National Academy of Engineering

‌‌According to IIT, being elected to the Academy is one of the highest professional honours an engineer can receive.

The National Academy of Engineering, a non-profit, non-governmental organisation based in the United States, has elected a faculty member from the Indian Institute of Technology – Madras (IIT-M) as one of the Academy's 18 new international members.

An aerospace engineering professor in IIT,  R.I. Sujith also serves as the department's D. Srinivasan chair and director of the Centre of Excellence for the study of critical transitions in complex systems.
