Hyderabad bags 2022 World Green City Award 2022

Hyderabad, a south Indian city, won both the overall "World Green City Award 2022" and another award in the category "Living Green for Economic Recovery and Inclusive Growth" at the recent International Association of Horticulture Producers (AIPH) event held in Jeju, South Korea.

Six categories were open for submissions to the AIPH's "World Green Cities Awards 2022."Out of 18 finalists, the final category winners were announced on October 14.The following lists the 6 categories and the nations that made it the short list.

The six categories were Living Green for Biodiversity, Living Green for Climate Change, Living Green for Health and Well-Being, Living Green for Water, Living Green for Social Cohesion and Living Green for Economic Recovery and Inclusive Growth.
