पंजाबी विश्वविद्यालय से पत्रकारिता और जनसंचार में स्नातकोत्तर उपाधि प्राप्त की है। उन्होंने कई अखबारों और स्थानीय रेडियो स्टेशनों में आरजे के रूप में भी काम किया है। वह 2003 में अमेरिका आईं और वर्तमान में टेक्सस में रहती हैं।
