HindiUSA to host Mahotsav in NJ

The event aims to provide a platform for the younger to experience the vibrant culture and traditions of India.

HindiUSA, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of Indian culture and the Hindi language will host the 22nd Annual Hindi Mahotsav on May 20-21, 2023, at Piscataway High School, New Jersey.

Expected to draw around 2000 participants. the event will host a graduation ceremony for the passing out students as well as feature dance, drama, Hindi poetry and play performances by over 1000 kids, enrolled in the organisation.

The event will also feature many stalls related to Indian clothing, jewelry, handicrafts, banking, finances and insurance to entertain the participants. Additionally, stalls offering authentic Indian cuisine will also be part of the festivities.

According to a news release, founders of HindiUSA, Devendra Singh and Rachita Singh have a deep passion for the Hindi language and an intention to uphold Indian culture for the benefit of the younger generations.

Their mission to teach Hindi and promote Indian culture from the basics has led the organization to grow from 8 students to 4000 students with 500 active volunteers. HindiUSA owns 25 schools in 7 states and has a virtual school with more than 200 students from various states of the USA and Canada.
