First trilateral ministerial meeting for India, UAE, and France held on the sidelines of UNGA

On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), India, the UAE, and France held their first trilateral ministerial meeting where they discussed a new and more modern approach to diplomacy with an emphasis on the "active exchange" of ideas between strategic allies and UNSC members.

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar arrived in New York on Sunday to take part in the high-level 77th session of the UN General Assembly, which began on September 20 with the opening of the General Debate.
