Kasinadhuni Viswanath, Dadasaheb Phalke awardee and filmmaker, passed away due to age-related health issues at a private hospital on February 2, 2023 aged 92.
The Telugu filmmaker and actor, also known as Kalatapasvi was born in February 1930 in Andhra Pradesh. Having begun his carrer as a sound artist, he went on to direct over 50 feature films in a variety of genres and contributed to the Tamil and Hindi film industry.
