Essar to invest $1.2 billion in India's energy transition

The investment made by EET in India will assist in achieving the nation's ambitious hydrogen ambition.

Essar Group announced on February 27, 2023, a US$3.6 billion investment in low-carbon energy transition projects in India and the UK, including the production of green hydrogen and ammonia over the next five years.

Of the total funds, the company will invest US $2.4 billion across its site at Stanlow, between Liverpool and Manchester and $1.2 billion in India over the next five years, their official statement said.
