Winner of multiple awards, he was the first recipient of the (Indian) Polestar Award for" IT Journalist of the Year' ( 1999) and the first recipient in print journalism of the UN-sponsored International PANOS-GKP Award for his coverage of e-literacy in Kerala ( 2003).He runs a tech news portal, IndiaTechOnline.
