Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar created a memorable moment for his fans in New York after he agreed to pose next to his wax figure at Madame Tussauds. Tendulkar met his popular wax likeness ahead of the highly-anticipated ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan on June.9 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

Symbolizing his lasting impact on cricket, Tendulkar's remarkable career has been honored multiple times by the world’s premier wax museum, beginning with his first figure at Madame Tussauds London in 2009. Since then, five more figures have been created in his honor.

Known as the "Master Blaster”, Tendulkar is celebrated globally for his unmatched skills and sportsmanship. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in cricket history, holding numerous records, including the most runs in both Test and One Day International (ODI) cricket. He remains the only player to have scored 100 international centuries. Throughout his illustrious career, Tendulkar has earned immense respect and admiration, solidifying his legacy as a cricket legend.

From June.10 through the World Cup Finals on June.29, Tendulkar’s wax figure will be available for fan interaction and photos in the lobby of Madame Tussauds New York before taking its permanent place in the museum alongside other sports icons.
