Michigan Democratic Senate Candidate Abdul El Sayed is a Role Model for Integrity and Identity in America

Angana Shah is a lawyer and rule of law and social justice advocate currently living in Michigan. After graduating from University of Michigan law school, she was based in Washington, DC, for more than 15 years working with USAID, the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation to establish Rule of Law in emerging market countries. Her time in Washington was punctuated by overseas assignments that led her to live in Bulgaria and Egypt. Angana moved back to her native Michigan in 2017 and currently lives in the Metro Detroit area with her son and her mother.
