The Consulate General of India in Seattle hosted its first-ever Open House on Consular issues on Nov. 29.
The event provided Indian nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) holders in the Greater Seattle area an opportunity to discuss consular matters directly with Consulate officials.

The first Open House on Consular Issues was held today.
Applicants from a large variety of consular cases, including distress cases and passport, visa and OCI participated, and their queries addressed.

The Open House addressed various consular concerns, including passport and visa issues and distress cases. Attendees appreciated the opportunity to receive personalized assistance and share feedback to help improve consular services.
A Consulate representative noted, “This initiative helps us better understand and address the needs of our community. We value the feedback received and will continue striving to enhance our services.”
The event, hosted at the Consulate’s office at 3101 Western Ave, Suite 700, Seattle, WA 98121, marked a step forward in strengthening the relationship between the Consulate and the community.
