Organizers describe Youthsava as a platform aimed at encouraging young performers and connecting participants with Indian cultural traditions.

The competition typically draws large participation, with more than 750 students performing close to 100 routines before an audience of over 3,000 during the day-long program.

Participants will compete in Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior, Youth, and Adult categories, with age eligibility determined as of Jan. 1, 2026. The Sub-Junior category covers ages 4 to 8, Junior 9 to 13, Senior 14 to 18, and Adult 18 and above.

A “Director’s Choice” segment will also be part of the competition, with themes including Umeed (Hope), Virasat (Heritage/Legacy), and Kaal (Time), with performances judged on interpretation of these themes.

Team registration is priced at $195 per category, and participants are required to follow competition guidelines outlined by the organizers.

Based in Silicon Valley, ICC regularly hosts cultural programs, classes, and community events aimed at promoting Indian heritage and providing a platform for artistic expression within the diaspora.
