California to host discussion on Guru Gobind Singh Sahib

California discussion on Guru Gobind Singh Sahib / Sikh Research Institute
A thoughtful dialogue to explore the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Sahib's, legacy of leadership, courage and collective responsibility, while examining the enduring relevance of his vision and teachings, will be held in Irvine, California, on Sept. 12.
The event, titled "Guru Gobind Singh Sahib: Life, Vision & Wisdom – Reflections on the Tenth Sovereign," is being hosted by the Sikh Research Institute (SikhRI) in collaboration with the Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF). It is open to members of the public upon registration.

The program will include a book conversation and an interactive question-and-answer session. It is being hosted by Manpreet Kaur Chadha and Dr. Arinder Singh Chadha.
Author and Sikh scholar Harinder Singh will discuss the book with Dr. Gurpreet Singh Ahuja, while Kiran Kaur will moderate the conversation.

According to the organizers, the event will examine Guru Gobind Singh Sahib's legacy through the themes of sovereignty, leadership, courage and collective responsibility, while reflecting on how his vision and wisdom continue to guide the Sikh Panth.
The event is being organized by the Sikh Research Institute in collaboration with the Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF) and is open to members of the public upon registration.
