Bengaluru startup launches app for global Sikh community
The platform combines daily prayers, scripture, translations and AI-assisted learning in one app.

Sikh-Pro app / Gur Sikhi Edtech LLP
Bengaluru-based firm Gur Sikhi Edtech launched Sikh-Pro, a free Android application offering the global Sikh community daily access to Sikh scriptures, prayers and other religious resources.
The app is now available on the Google Play Store and features the daily Hukamnama, the Sikh faith's daily scriptural message, from Sri Darbar Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India.

It also includes Nitnem, a collection of daily Sikh prayers, Gurbani, the teachings of the Sikh Gurus contained in Sikh scripture, AI-powered Gurbani search, a Sikh-focused AI assistant, customizable reading settings and tools to help users discover sewa, or volunteer service opportunities.
Sikh-Pro is the company's flagship product and is intended to serve Sikh communities in countries including India, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia.
The company said Sikh-Pro was developed to bring together daily prayer resources, scripture study and community service tools that were previously available across multiple platforms for the global Sikh diaspora.
According to the company, the AI assistant generates responses using Gurbani and verified Sikh historical sources. An iOS version of the application is under development and is expected to be released in the coming months, along with web access and expanded sewa features.
Founded in April 2026, Gur Sikhi Edtech LLP is a Bengaluru-based startup recognized by India's Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
