The Akshaya Patra USA (APUSA) Michigan Chapter hosted its second annual Michigan Chapter Golf Classic earlier this month at the Farmington Hills Golf Course to raise support for the organization’s Mid-Day Meal Program in India.
The event built on the momentum of the chapter's musical fundraiser held earlier this year and brought together community leaders, supporters, golfers, and philanthropists.

I sincerely thank our sponsors, volunteers, golfers, donors, and every supporter who joined us today,” Prahlad said.

Coming after its successful musical fundraiser, the tournament provided another opportunity for supporters to contribute to Akshaya Patra's mission of combating child hunger.
The APUSA Michigan Chapter expressed appreciation to all participants, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners whose support made the fundraiser possible. The organization said their generosity will help provide daily school meals to children through Akshaya Patra's Mid-Day Meal Program, supporting both nutrition and education.
