Rosso, a fine-dining restaurant located in Hinganigada near Pune, has earned global recognition after being named among the World's Most Beautiful Restaurants for 2026.
The list compiled by Prix Versailles, in its 12th edition, is an international award that celebrates outstanding achievements in architecture and design.

The restaurant was the only Indian entry on the coveted list of 16 restaurants selected from across the globe. Situated within Hotel Irada in Pune's wine country, Rosso was recognized for its striking design that blends Southern Italian influences with an Indian perspective.
Rosso's dining concept focuses heavily on Southern Italian culinary traditions. The restaurant also features a curated beverage pairing programme that draws from the estate's wine cellars, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Prix Versailles, which works under the patronage of UNESCO, evaluates contemporary projects based on architectural excellence, innovation, cultural significance and aesthetic appeal. The recognition highlights India's growing presence in the global hospitality and design landscape.
Other restaurants included in the 2026 Prix Versailles list were Carbone in London, Lucia in Los Angeles, Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn in Beverly Hills, and Mottai in Coral Gables.
