Jacobs appoints Venk Nathamuni as new CFO

Nathamuni brings more than 30 years of experience in finance and strategic leadership to the role.

American international technical professional services firm, Jacobs Solutions Inc.,  announced the appointment of Indian-American Venk Nathamuni as the company's new chief financial officer (CFO) effective June 3. 

As CFO, Nathamuni will manage Jacobs' financial operations, enterprise optimization, capital allocation, and investor relations. According to the firm’s statement,  he will be key in shaping the company’s financial strategy to drive long-term growth and enhance shareholder value.

Previously, Nathamuni served as CFO at Cirrus Logic, a global semiconductor company valued at US $6 billion. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in enhancing financial performance and executing strategic initiatives. His career also includes senior positions at J.P. Morgan, Synopsys, Synplicity, and QuickLogic. 

Commenting on his new role, the CFO said, “I am excited to join the talented team at Jacobs and contribute to the company’s continued success.” 

“Jacobs is a formidable company and has a strong culture. I look forward to collaborating with Bob (CEO) and the team to continue to drive financial excellence, operational efficiency, and a sustainable next generation of growth while contributing to the business transformation,” Nathamuni added.

His appointment underscores our commitment to excellence and our dedication to driving value for our clients, employees and shareholders,” the CEO further added. 

CEO Pragada also expressed gratitude to Kevin Berryman, who has been serving as interim CFO. Berryman will assist with the transition and remain as special advisor to the CEO, focusing on the separation of Jacobs’ Critical Mission Solutions and Cyber and  Intelligence businesses.

Nathamuni holds an MBA in finance and strategy from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s in electrical and  electronics engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and a bBachelor’s in eElectronics and communications engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, India.
