The Hindu Temple Community Center
The Community Center complex at the Hindu Temple houses an exquisite auditorium, wedding halls, conference rooms and a canteen to host all types events, cultural meets, functions, conferences, fairs and festivals.
Auditorium – 2nd floor
Considered one of the best performance centers in Queens, the Hindu Temple auditorium offers state-of-the-art lighting, high-definition acoustics and an outstanding performance space for the highest caliber of music, dance and theatrical productions including Indian classical and contemporary music and dances, operas, orchestras and ensembles.
Lakshmi and Parvati Halls – main floor
Hundreds of weddings, performance events, lectures and dinners have been conducted in these two beautiful halls in community center complex of the Temple.
The halls may be rented separately with a sound proof partition in between, so that two functions may take place simultaneously or together as one large hall to host large events and dinners.
Temple Gift Shop (Located in the Temple Canteen area) – lower level
The Temple gift shop carries a wide variety of items, such as pictures of Deities, Vigrahas (idols), pendants, coins, Veda and prayer books, Amarchitra Katha (Illustrated books for children), Tulsi and Rudraksha mala, Vibhooti, Chandana, Kumkuma, Key chains, Video/Audio Tapes, CDs, DVDs, Ayurvedic medicines and many more items!.
