Canada-India expand air travel agreement to allow unlimited flights

The new agreement allows unlimited flights per week, while the previous agreement limited each country to 35 flights a week.

In an effort to strengthen travel and business ties, Canada and India have agreed to expand their existing air travel agreement, the Canadian ministry of transport announced, on Monday.

The expansion will allow airlines of both countries “to introduce more flight options and routings, which benefit passengers and businesses by providing greater choice and convenience,” a news release said.
