British Indian Princess Sophia Duleep Singh to be honoured with Blue Plaque

The Blue Plaque will be installed at the Princess, suffragette and revolutionary's grace and favour home at Hampton Court

Princess Sophia Duleep Singh, the daughter of the last ruler of the Sikh empire Maharaja Duleep Singh and goddaughter of Queen Victoria, will be honoured with a commemorative Blue Plaque in London.

The Blue Plaque will be installed by English Heritage, a UK-based charity organization to commemorate the achievements of the recipients across many fields that includes the arts, music, social reform and activism.
