British Indian doctor blames UK hospital in suicide note

Before joining QEH, Kumar worked as a chief registrar at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals.

British-Indian doctor Vaishnavi Kumar, who ended her life in June 2022, left a suicide note blaming her death on her work environment at a UK hospital.

The 35-year-old junior doctor who served at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) has said that the work environment at the hospital 'just broke' her.
