British Indian appointed as first female CSD Director at Westminster University

The Academician hailing from Kashmir has served as one of the key witnesses at a United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs hearing about the human rights situation in the region.

British Indian Dr Nitasha Kaul became the first women to take office as the director of Centre for Study of Democracy (CSD) at University of Westminster located in London, United Kingdom, on Jan.1, 2023.

A Kashmiri origin novelist, politics/international relations academician, economist and poet , Kaul is a resident of London. She served as the associate professor (Reader) in Politics and International relations at University of Westminster since 2012.
