Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' box office collection on day 1 grosses INR 75 crore

While the movie has received mixed reviews from critics for its story and dialogues, many praised director Ayan Mukerji's larger-than-life vision of 'Astraverse' which blends Hindu mythology with elements of fantasy, something on par with VFX dominated Hollywood superhero film franchises.

Brahmastra Box Office Collection Day 1 exceeds INR 75 crores

The most-anticipated Hindi film of the year 2022, 'Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva', directed by Ayan Mukerji, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has been released this Friday in languages of Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, in all theatres across the world.  The amount of hype that was built around the film has paid off and has had a strong start at the box office.

Produced by Star Studios and Dharma Productions, Brahmastra is currently running in theatres in 2D, 3D and Imax 3D. It also stars great Indian actors Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
