Biden re-nominates Indian Americans to key posts

The 118th Congress on began on Jan.03, 2023.

US President Joe Biden re-nominated a number of Indian Americans to significant cabinet positions on Jan.03, 2023, as their earlier nominations could not be confirmed by the Senate during the last Congress.

Richard Verma, who will serve as the Deputy Secretary of State for management and resources, and Dr. Vivek Hallegere Murthy who will represent the United States on the executive board of the World Health Organization were among the individuals Biden re-nominated and forwarded to the Senate.
