The US President Biden has re-nominated former Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti to be the head of the US mission to India.
Garcetti’s reappointment comes after his confirmation failed to advance through the US Senate last year. The White House had first nominated Garcetti to the post of India’s Ambassador in July 2021.
