Berkelee Indian Ensemble’s debut album “Shuruaat” has been nominated in the Best Global Music Album Category by the Recording Academy awards, popularly known as the Grammys.
Shuruaat, is a 10 track album, which feature 98 musicians from all over the world, including Grammy-winning tabla maestro Zakir Hussain, renowned singers Shankar Mahadevan, Vijay Prakash, and Shreya Ghoshal.
