Aster DM Healthcare's CSR arm, Aster Volunteers, has launched the year-long "Kindness is a Habit" initiative to commemorate its 36th Foundation Day. As part of the initiative, the firm declared that it would fund 1000 procedures for less fortunate patients through its 26 Aster hospitals through seven nations.

250 surgeries, or a quarter  of them, will be provided without charge, while the remaining half or more will be on discounts. Through this campaign, the organization hopes to inspire people all around the world to make it a habit to treat others with kindness and compassion, and to inspire their friends, family, and wider community to follow suit.
