Pakistan managed to level scores after their first loss against arch rivals India, by defeating them, with one ball to spare, in a high intensity encounter at the ongoing Super 4 stage matches of the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai on Sunday.
The Indians were off to a flying start in the first innings with openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul leading the charge. Their 54-run partnership created a new record for the most number of 50-plus partnerships in T20Is. Coming in at number three, Virat Kohli also scored his fourth half century against Pakistan in the T20Is, which is the joint-most any player has scored against Pakistan in the format.
